Privacy policy

This website collects no analytics, sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The only personal data we hold because of it is what you send us when you get in touch, plus the access logs our host keeps.
This page is about the website. It is not about the DuskLine platform. What happens to the voice, location and event data a customer's crews generate on the platform is governed by that customer's contract and data processing agreement, where DuskLine acts as a processor on the customer's instructions. If you are looking for that, write to contact@duskline.io and we will send you the platform documentation.

What the site does not do
Stating this precisely is easier than describing what we collect, because the list is short:
- No cookies. The site sets none, of any kind, which is why you have not been asked to consent to any. See the cookie policy.
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no pixel and no tag manager.
- No browser storage. Nothing is written to
localStorage,sessionStorageor IndexedDB. - No third-party requests. The fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, the images are ours, and there are no embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or social buttons. Loading a page on this site contacts no server other than ours.
- No forms. There is nothing on the site to submit. The security policy the pages carry blocks form submission outright.
- No profiling and no automated decision-making.
- No sale of personal data, and no sharing of it for advertising.
Server logs
The site runs on shared hosting at OVH SAS, in France. Like any web server, it records each request: the IP address it came from, the time, the page or file requested, the HTTP status, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string.
- Why
- To keep the site running and to investigate abuse, outages and attacks. We do not use these logs to build a picture of individual visitors.
- Lawful basis
- Legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
- Retention
- The logs are kept by the host under its own retention schedule, which is a matter of weeks. We do not copy them elsewhere or keep our own archive.
When you contact us
The site's contact links open your own mail client or dialler; nothing is sent through the website itself. If you email or call us, we hold what you choose to tell us — typically your name, your email address or phone number, the organisation you work for, and whatever you write in the message.
- Why
- To answer you, to arrange and run a demonstration or pilot, and to discuss terms.
- Lawful basis
- Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us.
- Retention
- Correspondence that does not lead anywhere is deleted within two years of the last message. Correspondence that becomes a customer relationship is kept for as long as that relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as the applicable limitation and accounting periods require.
Who else sees this data
Only the suppliers that make it possible for us to run a website and receive mail:

Beyond that, we disclose personal data only where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not pass it to advertisers, data brokers or AI training datasets.
Where the data goes
The website and its logs are held in France. DuskLine SARL is established in Tunisia, courts of Tunis, so correspondence reaches us there, and where that involves a transfer out of the European Economic Area we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Where data protection law gives you these rights — the GDPR does, if you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area, and comparable rights exist under the national law of most of the countries we work in — you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
- erase it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it;
- restrict what we do with it while a question about it is resolved;
- hand it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format;
- stop processing it where we are relying on a legitimate interest. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will, and we will keep the minimum record needed to make sure we honour that.
Write to contact@duskline.io. We answer within one month. There is no charge, and we will not ask you for more identification than we need to be sure it is you.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — but you are entitled to go straight to the data protection authority in your country instead, and we would rather you knew that.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, with HSTS, and each page carries a content security policy that permits nothing but its own resources. If you find a vulnerability, the reporting address is published at /.well-known/security.txt.
Children
This is a site about industrial and public-safety radio equipment, sold to organisations. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions; ask us if you need one for a procurement file.
